Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)

What is Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)?

Paintless Dent Repair, often referred to as PDR, is the process of removing dents, dings, creases, and minor collision damage without needing to use body fillers or repaint the vehicle. With Paintless Dent Repair methods, we are able to restore the vehicle to preaccident condition without disrupting the original paintwork.

Advantages to PDR

There are many advantages to Paintless Dent Repair. PDR can help improve the resale value of your vehicle and is an environmentally friendly way to improve your vehicle. With PDR, we are able to preserve the original paint and avoid unnecessary body fillers, sanding, and repainting. By repairing damage with PDR, you can expect a much quicker repair time compared to traditional body shops. Most repairs can be completed within one day using Paintless Dent Repair methods, so you don’t have to worry about going without your vehicle for weeks.

OUR PROCESS

First, our team will inspect the damage and work with the customer to determine the best plan of action. At Superior Dent Repair, we value honesty and can acknowledge that PDR is not always the best option. Send pictures or a video of the damage on your vehicle to start the consultation process.

Prices are based on the size and difficulty of the repair. There are many different factors that determine the cost of the repair like the type of metal (steel or aluminum), access to the dent, location of the dent (body line, edge of panel, etc), and more. Most of the time, we can provide an estimate based on pictures or videos of the damage.

Our expert technician is highly trained and skilled in Paintless Dent Repair methods. The process involves using various tools to manipulate the metal back to its original shape. Every dent is unique in its own ways. We may decide to remove trim panels to gain access from behind the dent to push it out. On the other hand, we sometimes opt to use advanced glue pull methods to pull it out. The methods used will be determined by our expert technician as he calculates the best way to restore the vehicle back to its preaccident condition.

Mobile Repair

We are a mobile company, which means that we will come to you to complete the repair as long as you are in our service area. We have repaired dents in customer’s garages, driveways, work parking lots, etc. to provide the most convenient option for our customers. However, with being in Michigan, we do need to consider the weather conditions. From November 15th to April 15th we are limited to completing repairs in (preferably heated) garages. This is not only for the comfort of our technician, but mostly to ensure we can achieve a successful repair as the cold temperatures affect the way the metal and paint moves.
