Paintless Dent Repair

What is PDR?

Paintless Dent Repair or PDR for short, is the method used to remove dents from cars panels using no filler, no sanding, and no paint! This is a great alternative to your conventional body shop repairs, although each has its respected place, check with us to see if PDR is an option for you and your needs.

How does it work?

Using years of experience along with specialized tools, technicians can work the metal, knowing where and when to put pressure to allow the metal to work back to its original state. Steel has memory, memory from when it was stamped from the factory, it wants to be in its original flat state, but it takes an experienced technician to know where to apply pressure and how much too. aluminum is becoming more and more common on cars these days, due to its strength and low weight characteristics, although aluminum brings a whole challenge to PDR it is still repairable. Using tools just for aluminum along with the knowledge of how aluminum moves, technicians can massage it back to its original state. Unlike Steel, Aluminum has no memory, so it takes almost twice the effort to work and massage the dent back to its original state. Unfortunately this shows in the price to repair Aluminum panels.

What is the process?

Paintless Dent Removal is done by using specialty metal rods to gently massage the dent from the backside of the panel or "skin". Using custom lighting to help see the smallest of imperfection, while also using many techniques of the trade to know where and when to push and how hard to push. If we can not gain access to the back of the panel, we use a method of glue pulling, using a special hot glue along with plastic tabs to pull the dent out from the frontside. Both methods have great success.

Prices starting at $150+. Pricing depends on the size of the dent and how many there are.
